Parts information, made useful in the browser.

LUWA’s founder, Luqman Ismail, developed Danny’s first official online presence while working at Danny’s Automotive. It brought parts information and customer resources together, then grew to include the interactive Parts Atlas. The original platform operated publicly for approximately one year and is now retired.

What needed to change

Danny’s extensive parts range gave customers and staff a lot to navigate. Finding a product, checking an alternate number and reaching the right resource each called for a simpler digital route.

What we built

The platform brought range exploration, part-number cross-referencing, catalogue information and customer resources into the browser. Operational utilities supported related tasks. Later Parts Atlas development added an interactive schematic; the gallery includes captures of that later work.

The first digital home for the work.

The original Tools platform gave Danny’s product range its first official online home. Customers and staff could explore information that had previously been harder to reach in one place.

Making the parts visible

Later Parts Atlas work offered a visual way into the catalogue. Its interactive 3D schematic let people explore vehicle systems and related components before checking the parts information. It aided discovery without guaranteeing fitment.

A working period, then a transition

The original platform operated publicly for approximately one year and has since been retired. Danny’s now uses a separate e-commerce platform developed by Zezwe ICT.

What the work demonstrates

This work shows how complex parts information can become something people can search, explore and use. Luqman Ismail’s contribution at Danny’s Automotive remains an important part of LUWA’s engineering portfolio.

01

Product discovery

Browse the range, search catalogue information and follow part-number references from a useful starting point.

02

Interactive exploration

Parts Atlas development used an interactive 3D vehicle schematic to make systems and associated components easier to explore.

03

Practical workflows

Customer resources and operational utilities helped turn scattered information into practical browser workflows.
